We are all about coming alongside parents on a Sunday morning so you can go to church in peace and have some alone time with God.  We will give love and care to your child as you breathe in some fresh air and fresh perspective at the church service!  Ahhh….breathe, breathe.

When Should I Transition My Child Into the KidzZone Preschool Program?

If your child is still in the Toddler Zone, you may be wondering when it is time to transition into Preschool.  The Toddler Zone welcomes steady walkers up to children 33 months of age.  Our youngest Preschool class, the "lamb" room, welcomes children 24 months and up.  As you can see, there is an overlap because children develop at their own unique pace. 

Our hope is that your child will be fully engaged while they are with us.  You and your BTZ leader may notice some signs showing your child is ready to move to the Lamb room:  child is bored with BTZ toys, child is growing too big for play equipment in the BTZ, child needs larger space to move around.  If you think your child may be ready to move into the KidzZone lamb room (#108), feel free to make that move.  We may also contact you personally if we see signs that your child is ready to move.

Upcoming events

Summer classes will continue through Labor Day weekend.  Fall classes kick off on Sunday, September 12th, when some children will move up to their new classrooms.  Children will check in at a central location, then head to their age appropriate classrooms.  Your child's age on or near September 1st dictates their classroom for the yrear.

2 year olds: Lamb room (108)
3 year olds: Frog room (109)
4 year olds: Fish room (110)
5 year olds & Kindergartners: Tiger room (111)

We are flexible on this class structure.  We believe "parents know best".  If you want to keep siblings together in a room, or your child is at a different  level developmentally, please talk to the Pre/K staff and they'll make the necessary adjustments.  The desire is to be consistent with the kids and not swithch them to different classrooms once they've been established.  Summer "Tigers" who will have just begun first grade, will move up to the chapel to join 1st-5th grade class.

→Regular Rotation Workers (RRWs) - Do you enjoy small children? We have openings for RRWs in the BTZ. You would serve one Sunday a month for one service.

→BTZ Coordinator - Love organization and leading a team? Our Children & Family Ministry seeks a BTZ Coordinator. Spiritual gifts preferred: leadership, administration, encouragement. Duties would include: Training regular rotation workers; caring for and

BTZ Sub Opportunities:
