On Sunday, May 11th the Children's Ministry invites
"Hairy and Company!" to Kidz Zone!  

Preschoolers thru 5th grade will be gathering together in the Student Miniistry Center for a professional puppet show for kids.  This will be a very special treat for your kids.  Please bring your children to room 209 (not their normal classrooms) at either 9 or 10:45.  They will enjoy the silliness and fun of puppets along with singing and creative teaching from the Bible.  Because of space, this is open to children only.  Sorry parents!

Having children is sort of like going on a road trip!  You jump in the family vehicle excited for the journey ahead!  It’s a blast at the beginning, but then you blow a tire!  You’ve got a full tank of gas, but it runs low at times.  It’s all part of the trip. 

Our Mission:  To support the family in reaching kids and helping them to become fully devoted followers of Christ!

Kids this age are like fast cars traveling long distances!  They are gas guzzlers in need of frequent fill-ups!  These kids have positive and negative influences all around them vying to fill them up with their ideas and messages.  Kidz Zone exists to come alongside families who desire to fill their kids’ hearts and minds with the knowledge of and love for Jesus Christ.  

Kidz Zone age appropriate learning areas:

PRESCHOOL

During 1st service, preschool students are split into 3 age groups:

►Preschoolers who are just out of the Toddler Zone; this is a less structured environment.

►3 yr old Preschool; a little more structured.

►4 & 5 yr old Preschool; those children who will be in Kindergarten next year.  In this more structured class they will be prepared to be Kindergarteners.

Please register your child at the check-in station in the preschool area (down the only hall on the first floor.

During 2nd service, preschool students meet together in room 111.

KINDERGARTEN & FIRST GRADE

During 1st service, Kindergarten & 1st graders will meet in room 111.  

During 2nd service, Kindergarten & 1st graders will meet in room 203 (old chapel). 

SECOND & THIRD GRADE

During 1st service, 2nd & 3rd graders will meet in room 203 (the old chapel).

During 2nd service, 2nd & 3rd graders will meet in room 203 (the old chapel).

FOURTH & FIFTH GRADE

4th & 5th graders will meet in room 211 for both 1st & 2nd service.  

Please note: As a matter of safety and liability, we will not allow children, preschool through 3rd grade to leave their classrooms without their parent or "pick up person" (must have sticker name tag).  We will allow 4th and 5th grade students to leave their classroom when class is over.  Please plan for a place to meet your older children, or if you want them to remain in their classroom for you to pick them up, work that out with your child.
