—What is First Steps?

First Step is a Bible Study for men and women who are seeking answers from God’s Word for the most essential questions people ever ask.



Why am I here?
What did God make me for?
How can I know who God is?
How can I know He loves me?
How can I live in relationship with Him?


To help people answer these and other questions about their relationship with Christ, First Steps links people together to study together a series of Bible Study books entitled “Operation Timothy.”

—What is Involved?

Individuals are linked up with another person who will lead them through the First Steps Study. Usually this is a one on one pairing, but sometimes there can be several people doing this study together with the same leader.
Generally speaking, the person and his or her study leader meet for approximately six months and work through the Operation Timothy Bible study books. It is recommend that there be a strong commitment to meeting regularly as this maintains the best momentum and makes for a very positive, cutting edge learning time in people’s lives.
The lessons are set up in an easy to understand format, and the one-on-one or small group atmosphere gives freedom to ask questions and build friendships.

First Steps gives you and your leader the flexibility to set the time and day that will work best for you. It provides tools to equip you for a purposeful, significant and fruitful life with Jesus Christ and a solid foundation in your Christian walk.

First Steps . . . How can anyone explain a God experience. I went into this ministry wanting to learn, and I received more than I expected. God provides the perfect mentor, guide, brother or sister in Christ to lead you. Jeff Kuhn helped me more than he could imagine.
